Extending Bayer’s presence in hemophilia

Bayer Healthcare is one of the largest producers of prescription drugs for hemophilia.  As its market-leading drug, Kogenate, was approaching patent expiry, We were called on to create identities for the next two of Bayer’s entries into the field, the first being Kovaltry.  T Branding’s challenge was a balancing act: transfer as much equity from Kogenate as possible, but make the brand appear new and much improved.  The result was a clean, bold look and feel that expanded the Kogenate color palette and added proprietary holding shapes derived from the Kovaltry brand icon. Materials included logo, brand architecture, packaging and comprehensive identity guidelines.
